Fitted as a Camargue Bull Ring, the Arena of Nimes is a constant stunning sight, however, more or less at dawn.
All day long, to the roars of the crowd and the sounds of the trumpets, the Arena staged one show after another: hunts, executions, gladiatorial contests

The entrance marks the body of a Roman-Catholic Cathedral, which is nearly the tip of the eisberg, in which architecture is concerned.
I am overwhelmed by the way this photo turned out to be. The morning light in Madrid at 8 a.m. was out of this world. (!!!) This is the best aspect of taking this photo from this side of the Cathedral and not from the back. Our “fat-old sun” is merely beating from behind a pillar. In addition, all the surrounding ‘objects’ seize their shadows… I believe it contributes with dynamism to the court besides Prado

This does resemble the arena in the previous photo, but it is actually the place you can attend to the best music ever. A friend of mine from Ferrara shared his experiences and consigned this place to me, as “the best you’ll ever get to know in this life… Better than an orchestra, better than backup singers, better than an electric guitar…“
This place hosts some of the finest jazz, bossa novas, swing, classic concerts in Europe. It is the surroundings of the arena that makes everything worthwhile. It makes music come out exactly the way it is, unmodified. Every sound fits in perfectly with good pure quality.

This is a shot taken at about 500 km from the Cannes Film Festival.

I performed this highly unappropriate gesture during the Sunday-after-Easter ceremony.
The light that flashes inside the curch, leans over my grandmother. She’s the gray lady in the first row.

The place is identified as “Ochiul Beiului” -in Romanian-
I would actually route for its appreciative remarks because of its beauty, but mostly for its mystical color, which no one actually knows where it comes from. It sure isn’t from its deepness…
