A Salient…

An idyllic French residence, during revamping
An idyllic French residence, during revamping… I spotted it while walking through Avignon, one summer. The furniture resembles perfectly the Renascent art
Princess Ivy on a dungeon
As it is, we boast and brag. At least we don’t overlook something beautiful… (Avignon)
It isn’t a specific building, but I see it as recreational, not only for its vivid asset. Don’t loose sight of the contrast: an Ivy growing on dungeon walls

Expecting the sight of an Arena
Fountain - Avignon
Located next to the gift shop from which we bought the best Providence ingredients, flavors, spices.
The fountain is the place next to Nostradamus…
The fountain is the source of a peculiar resonance (Providence insects)

Arena
Fitted as a Camargue Bull Ring, the Arena of Nimes is a constant stunning sight, however, more or less at dawn.
All day long, to the roars of the crowd and the sounds of the trumpets, the Arena staged one show after another: hunts, executions, gladiatorial contests
The light you see in the photo is all natural, no modifications adjusted.
Museo del Prado
Morning sunlight slanting over the pair of the hundreds awaiting the opportunity to enter Prado (Madrid)
Personal: (I wept when I took a glimpse of my first Dali: Flight of a Bumblebee)
The fat old sun
The entrance marks the body of a Roman-Catholic Cathedral, which is nearly the tip of the eisberg, in which architecture is concerned.
I am overwhelmed by the way this photo turned out to be. The morning light in Madrid at 8 a.m. was out of this world. (!!!) This is the best aspect of taking this photo from this side of the Cathedral and not from the back. Our “fat-old sun” is merely beating from behind a pillar. In addition, all the surrounding ‘objects’ seize their shadows… I believe it contributes with dynamism to the court besides Prado
Verona
This does resemble the arena in the previous photo, but it is actually the place you can attend to the best music ever. A friend of mine from Ferrara shared his experiences and consigned this place to me, as “the best you’ll ever get to know in this life… Better than an orchestra, better than backup singers, better than an electric guitar…“
This place hosts some of the finest jazz, bossa novas, swing, classic concerts in Europe. It is the surroundings of the arena that makes everything worthwhile. It makes music come out exactly the way it is, unmodified. Every sound fits in perfectly with good pure quality.
500 km from the Cannes Film Festival
This is a shot taken at about 500 km from the Cannes Film Festival.
Don’t be deceived by the aspect of the sky, it was a beautiful day…
The beach was entirely littered
The decks were festooned with each movie’s theme
Each director turned up with his staff, by yacht
It was the year 432 won the award for Best Foreign Movie…
(I saw the empty movie cabin on the shore, set in purpose of interviews)

A maze
It is simply a maze

The Town Clock, Prague
This town is of a salient beauty
It is the House of European Jazz

A good clean shot taken in a spectacular room, at Schonbrunn Palace, Vienna
Besides the elements on which I focused my attention on in this photo, other include blue Chinese ink decoration, golden ornaments, epic royal furniture, and more. It also includes the item which mostly caught my eye: grand classic pool table.

Kissing lips
Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon’s sparkling
So kiss me

Christian Orthodox Curch, Ciclova - Caras-Severin
I took this photo in a Christian Orthodox Curch, located in my grandparents’ village, Ciclova.
I performed this highly unappropriate gesture during the Sunday-after-Easter ceremony.
The light that flashes inside the curch, leans over my grandmother. She’s the gray lady in the first row.
Ochiul Beiului
Like nothing you’ve ever seen before…
The place is identified as “Ochiul Beiului” -in Romanian-
I would actually route for its appreciative remarks because of its beauty, but mostly for its mystical color, which no one actually knows where it comes from. It sure isn’t from its deepness…
Ochiul Beiului - different angle
A highly stimulating location
(the water is actually even more blue and clearer in the summer)
What we think of religion
Reasons why we love our religion:
On special occasions, we get to burn down our saints, the cross on which Jesus was crucified…
Makes you think about what we truly think of our religion
